Amber “J” Fortune

Amber “J” Fortune is the Graphic Designer and Content Creator at American Heritage Financial, where she brings more than 12 years of experience in marketing, design, event coordination, and social media management. She supports all AHF office locations by developing creative materials, managing campaigns, and enhancing brand identity across platforms.  

Before joining AHF, J worked as a Graphic Designer with Second Wind Beverages & Snacks. In that role, she designed all the marketing and merchandising for a partnership campaign with Mrs. Jones and The Humane Beings that raised proceeds to support animal sanctuaries worldwide. She also implemented consistent social media campaigns and coordinated the company’s debut at MomoCon, an event attended by more than 50,000 people annually.  

J is especially passionate about helping creative communities and small business owners bring their visions to life. She excels at streamlining marketing efforts and developing cohesive brand styles that drive engagement and efficiency. For J, great design is more than aesthetics—it’s about connecting companies with their audiences in meaningful ways.  

J earned a general AA from Pensacola State College, followed by an AA in Graphic Design and a BA in English Literature from the University of West Florida. She currently serves on the board of the Pensacola Poetry Society and remains actively involved in local nonprofits and grassroots organizations.  

Outside of work, J enjoys writing and publishing books, painting, and dancing. She also implemented marketing and community programs for the West Florida Public Libraries—initiatives that are still in use over a decade later. She shares her home with her cat, Britomart, and loves spending time with friends at activities like karaoke, axe throwing, and escape rooms.
